K2 Logistics Continues its Partnership with the
University of Minnesota’s Athletic Department
Eagan-based shipper sponsoring Gopher Men’s Basketball during 2009-2010 season
Eagan, Minnesota (October 15, 2009) – K2 Logistics, a full service shipping and supply chain management leader, announced today it has extended its official partnership agreement with the University of Minnesota’s Athletic Department. Gopher Sports Properties, which administers the University of Minnesota’s Athletics’ multimedia rights, secured the sponsorship.
“We are delighted to continue our affiliation with the athletic department at the University of Minnesota,” said Tom Lehmann, Chief Strategy Officer for K2 Logistics. “We value our relationship and see the sponsorship as a natural step in our partnership with the university and its athletes.”
As part of the sponsorship, K2 Logistics will air a radio advertisement during each of the Gopher’s 29 regular season men’s basketball games. In the ad, Gopher’s head basketball coach Tubby Smith helps highlight K2’s commitment and dedication to delivering crucial testing materials to our schools while saving education dollars.
K2 Logistics has an impressive track record of supporting the University of Minnesota. Each of the past three years, it has generously helped the university’s “M” Club with its fund raising efforts for student-athlete scholarships.
